Help secure OUBbC's future

Oxford University Basketball Club is one of Oxford's largest and most successful sports clubs — six teams, over 80 active players, and a record 150+ sign-ups last season. The 2024/25 season brought a Varsity clean sweep against Cambridge and international success, with both Blues teams winning the 2025 Paris International Tournament.

Behind that success is a student committee managing rising costs year after year through careful planning. We've been reluctant to ask alumni and supporters for help in the past — but with the club at its largest ever, we believe now is the time to secure its future.

The ask

OUBbC Endowment Fund — £52,000

We're raising £52,000 to join the University's Sports Endowment Fund — a one-time threshold that would then generate roughly £2,000/year in income for the club, indefinitely. Our target is to grow the fund to £100,000 by 2030, unlocking around £4,000/year to reinvest in players, coaching, and competition.
